Job Duties

• Code and test software applications based upon software specifications and design
• Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing software
• Write and maintain technical documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the organization
• Be responsible for the underlying architecture for the software program
• Mentor junior and other members on the development team
• Serve as technical adviser to management and provide programming perspective on requirements.

Requirements

Master’s or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Engineering (any), or related12 months of experience in the job offered or as a/an Software developer, designer, solution architect or related.

In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor’s or equivalent in the above-stated fields plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the above-stated occupations.  

Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience not less than the primary requirements.

Position is based out of 23465 Rock Haven Way, Suite 100, Dulles, VA 20166 and may require relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the United States.
